Strong-Motion Ground Acceleration

The OOI RCA and COSZO strong-motion accelerometers collect and stream three-component ground acceleration data in real-time. The data can be used to help characterize and accurately locate earthquakes below the continental shelf and facilitate offshore earthquake and tsunami early warning research.

The acceleration time series can be retrieved from EarthScope Data Services. Below are links to the station summaries, listed by site.
